MAKING MUSIC ON YOUR OWN - JAMMING!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Farmers Branch Historical Park has several shady areas and great old buildings that are perfect for jamming.
These include a log cabin (complete with porch and rocking chairs!), a gazebo, and a country store.  If you want
to take a break from the great music on stage, take a break with your old (and new) friends in a jam circle!
The Park will be open later than usual - 8p on Thurs. night, Oct. 13, and until 11p on Friday and Saturday nights,
Oct. 14-15, for jamming under the stars!  So come and jam!  Acoustic instruments only, please - no amps.
Shuttle service to and from the Historical Park will be available Friday and Saturday only.
COME TO THE JAM CAMP!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For an even greater jamming experience, come out to the Bloomin' Bluegrass Festival a day early and
join Gerald Jones and friends for a two-day JAM CAMP organized by Acoustic Music Camp.
Visit the AcousticMusicCamp.com website for details.

FREE PARKING AND HANDICAP ACCESS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Free parking and shuttle service for the Festival is available at 12000 Ford Road in Farmers Branch, which is just
across the street from the Farmers Branch Historical Park.  You will likely need to walk about a block to get to
the park from your car (and slightly farther from the Holiday Inn Select or RV parking area).  Free shuttles will
be running during the Festival between the Holiday Inn Select, parking lots, and the Park.  A few handicap spaces
may be available at the northwestern park gate (2540 Farmers Branch Lane).  Additional free handicap parking
is
at 12400 Ford Road (corner Ford Road & Christian Parkway), with free shuttle service to and from the Park.
BLANKETS, LAWN CHAIRS, PETS, ETC.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So that everyone can have a clear view of the stage, only blankets and grass seating will be permitted in
the area directly in front of the stage.  Standard lawn chairs may be used behind the rope line that will
designate the blanket and grass-seating area.  Unoccupied chairs or blankets may be used by anyone until the
owner returns.  If you see an empty blanket or chair near the stage, feel free to have a seat until the owner
returns.  No item may be left in the Park overnight.  No pets allowed in the Park or the parking lots during the
Festival (except for handicap assistance animals).
